European shares end mostly lower. France's CAC closes with a small gain

The major European indices are ending the day mostly lower. The France's CAC bucked the trend by closing with a small gain.

• Italy's FTSE MIB fell -0.58%
• Portugal PSI 20 fell -1.62%

In the European 10 year note sector, the yields are ending mostly higher. The riskier countries are continuing to see investors flee (Spain, Italy and Portugal). The German 10 year was down -0.1% on flight to safety flows. The UK and France note yields were modestly higher.
