Latest final data released by Markit - 2 January 2017
Preliminary reading here. Right in line with preliminary readings. Highest ever reading posted for the Markit survey.
Manufacturing output hit 62.2 and manufacturing new orders hit 61.5, both highest levels since April 2000.
As mentioned in the calendar preview, these are not really market movers as they are just the final readings - and more or less in line with the preliminary numbers.
EUR/USD at 1.2044, barely changed in the last 15 minutes.
