As I mentioned earlier, the interbank market is reporting buying interest starting at 1.3835 through 1.3815. The amounts aren’t particularly large but they are probably big enough to hold a line until the bigger-hitters in Europe get in. Low so far 1.3837 and momentum is almost non-existent.

Should be a lovely weekend here in Sydney, made nicer tonight when the Swannies whup the Hawks (Aussie Rules football for the poor uninitiated). I also advise my fellow Irishmen not watch the Rugby against the Wallabies; I’m very afraid it will turn into a rout.
