EU's Barnier reported to be working on new protocol to minimise checks on Irish border post-Brexit

Again, do be reminded that this is another British newspaper headlining the above so there could be a bit of a positive spin put on this as with what we have seen in recent times. This sort of deviates a bit from what the EU has been claiming last week that Barnier's position/stance has not changed regarding Brexit - something which I share a view on as well.

Nonetheless, further reports like these will at least help to provide some relief to all the Brexit doom and gloom rhetoric and will help alleviate some pressure off the pound.
