Dombrovskis says an exit isn't our intention

  • Greek exit is not our intention but if trust is not rebuilt then it cannot be excluded

There's mixed views on restructuring coming out of from the various countries

Finland's Stubb says that he's not willing to ease Greece's debt burden while Ireland's Noonan says that restructuring the debt is part of the solutions

Restructuring is the easy route out of the mess but I can understand why many will be against it. Greece already had a 50% write down in 2012 and the rest was restructured out 50 years. That was a big enough deal then so it's no surprise that many are unwilling to go further.

Any further haircuts and restructuring will bring the biggest risk of contagion, and the Troika know it
