Fed warns banks to guard against interest rate risk

Bloomberg reports that the Fed and other regulators have warned US banks to guard against rising US rates.

The buck is firming on the report.

UPDATE: The warning was much more vague than what I first heard. It implies they should guard against higher rates, since there is only one way for them to go, on the long-end.
