For every job created, 10 politicians take credit for it

Draghi congratulates himself for creating 4,500,000 jobs

"Our monetary policy created 4.5m jobs that were not there before. The rest is speculation."

Why not use the word 'contributed', which is fine. Low rates definitely helped, so that's fair. But the politicians and bureaucrats of the world are insistent on using the word 'created'.

I mean, who is really 'creating' a job? When companies need help to make money, they hire. It's a mutual exchange not a gift.
