Confirmation over the weekend that Ireland will indeed accept a bailout from international lenders has seen the EUR open higher in the interbank market. EUR/USD closed in NY at 1.3685 and has traded to a high of 1.3743 so far this morning. It is currently quoted at 1.3710.
