I'm not sure that case and death data in these economies has much relevance to economies any longer. There are some questions that need answered:
- How many people have had it and don't know?
- What's the real mortality rate?
- How is it being transmitted/can it be stopped?
- Are drugs/treatments effective?
- Can we open economies safely?
