French Q-1 GDP falls -1.2% q/q

French Q-1 GDP has come in as the media had reported, showing a -1.2% quarter on quarter decline.

The previous two quarters were revised down, Q-4 2008 to -1.5% from -1.1% and Q-3 2008 to -0.2% from +0.1%.

EUR/USD has come under a little pressure this morning in the wake of the various GDP data, presently down at 1.3590. Initial support comes at 1.3580/85.
