Merkel says she doesn't need the need for any fiscal stimulus package
This is insanity. The economy is clearly slowing down. The expectations component of the ZEW survey today fell to the lowest since 2011.
The market is trying to pay Germany to borrow (via negative yields) and they're not taking the money.
I feel like Germany will eventually reverse course but by then it might be too late.
