German August ifo stronger than expected

German August ifo survey has come in stronger than expected. Expectations index at 95.0 versus median forecast of 92.0, business climate 90.5 versus median forecast of 89.0 and current assessment 86.1 versus median forecast of 86.0

Muted response to better than expected data., not wholly unexpected. EUR/USD up to 1.4349 and down again, presently at 1.4330.
