Reuters reporting comments regarding their actions following the VW scandal
- govt will continue to work closely with VW about which vehicles are affected
- not known how many of the 11 mln cards are in Europe
- will agree new European emissions tests in coming months. They should take place on the road not in laboratory conditions
- says VW has admitted manipulation also took place in Europe
The knock- on effect continues with DAX currently down -0.5% at 9566
