FRANKFURT (MNI) – German federal tax revenue rose 3.0% on the year
in August, reaching E17.6 billion, German business weekly
Wirtschaftswoche reported Friday.

For the period January-August, however, tax intake was down 0.4%
from the same period one year ago, at E306.3 billion.

The government had assumed a drop in tax revenue of about 3% this
year for its medium-term financial planning, the publication said.
