BERLIN (MNI) – The German government sees currently no need to
increase the planned second aid package for Greece beyond the E130
billion earmarked by European leaders, a German finance ministry
spokesman said Friday.

Officials from the European Commission, International Monetary Fund
and European Central Bank will be in Athens next Tuesday to monitor
Greece’s compliance with the conditions of its bailout package.

German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle will meet Greek Prime
Minister Lucas Papademos on Sunday in Athens, a foreign ministry
spokesman said today. Westerwelle will encourage the Greek government to
continue on its consolidation and reform path, the spokesman said.
