Tokyo and Seoul are about to open and liquidity is starting to improve across all markets. Gold reached a new record high at $1624/oz before steadying and is now back down towards $1616/oz. (Is this going to be yet another in the long line of occasions when market extremes were reached in early Asian Monday morning markets? Only time will tell).
USD/JPY has reclaimed most of its opening losses but USD/CHF still has another 40 pips to go before closing its’ gap.
