Greece June current account out a short while ago
- tourism receipts rise to €2.047bln from 1.792bln June 2016
Posting for general info.
Shrinking C-A surplus due to wider trade gap and deficit in the primary income balance but largely offset by stronger surplus in the services balance, solely attributable to a €257mln rise in travel balance surplus, says the Bank of Greece.
2016 C-A deficit in total was €1.1bln vs surplus of €206mln in 2015 as a result of lower services balance surplus.
Meanwhile EURUSD nudging higher to 1.1744 with GBPUSD back up around 1.2875 and USDJPY clinging to 109.00 still.
Nice to have an easy morning after a busy week-end eh ? Still intra-day jobbing pips to be had for those interested.
