Not Likely. Tsipras takes another vote to parliament today

Today Greek politicians return to parliament to vote on the second part of the measures promised to the Eurogroup. An approval of these measures will open the door to negotiations with creditors for a third bailout said to be worth €80-90bn

Tsipras swung the axe on rebels in his party after the last vote but Greek watchers say that there is still a risk more will go against him. There was a risk to the vote last week but it went through with minimal fuss in the end. Today's vote is expected to go through just as easily

Tsipras still faces a hard battle to keep himself in the job after turning tail on agreeing reforms after the public referendum voted against them

The debates in parliament have started and the vote will come later. There's no real time line as the Greeks get things done when they get things done

The real market risk will increase when they start negotiations with creditors, which they say will be completed by 20th August. Unless they are going to totally bend over to lenders demands, I think they're being a tad optimistic on that date. No doubt there will be arguments, proposals, counter proposals, counter counter proposals, more arguments, threats, proposals, arguments and possibly some argued proposals. I can't wait :-D

Are you ready?
