Company hires new CEO then fires him before he even starts and pays him $1.8 million
Marketwatch reports on cosmetics company Coty, which markets products bearing such brand names as Calvin Klein, Adidas and Marc Jacobs had a change of heart after hiring Elio Leoni Sceti as CEO. But to make everything better, they gave him $1.8 million to forget the whole thing.
Idiotic moves like that bring down governments and yet companies get away with it.
