Hong Kong trading to resume at 1pm

The HK exchange will open for trade today at 1pm (local time) now following this morning’s closure due to weather.

• Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEx) announced that trading in the securities and derivatives markets would resume from 1pm, after the cancellation of this morning of Typhoon Signal No. 8.
• When the securities market resumes trading, there will be no pre-opening session. For those futures contracts to which the pre-opening session applies, the pre-opening session will commence 30 minutes before trading resumes.
