One part of trading is getting yourself in the right frame of mind. Obviously the most important time is first thing in the morning, or when you first sit down to trade.
I’m not a morning person. I have no problem getting up but it takes a good hour for my brain to really kick into gear.
Despite being English I’m not a big tea drinker and my morning drink of choice is a big glass of fruit juice. However, I am going for a small caffeine injection by having a cup of tea while doing the earlies this week.
I suspect many of you are coffee junkies and need a good fix before starting the day. Does it really help or do you pay for it later in the day?
Currently I don’t eat anything until about 10 am and usually have something light like toast but I do hanker for the odd greasy fry up now and again.
Something I am finding beneficial is a bit of office exercise. I’m doing 15 pushups every hour during my shift. Not a lot but considering I probably haven’t done 15 in the last 10 years it’s a start
I can honestly say it’s having an affect on my energy levels.
