Shanghai Composite higher for the session, but still down from yesterday's close:

It seems set for a grind higher until the next round of crisis hits. I can't imagaine it'll go up too much before then given the overhang of sellers about.

The Nikkei is pretty much flat on the day at its lunch break. We got more poor data from Japan today (machine orders), and Kuroda in parliament being his usual cheery self (Me not being sarcastic, he is cheery! Delusional, but cheery.)
