OPEC+ reportedly discussing to bring forward their next meeting to 4 June
- OPEC + is close to bringing its meeting forward a week to June 4 (ie. this week)
- Russia has no objection to the OPEC+ meeting being brought forward to June 4
- OPEC+ to discuss extending the current oil output cuts for 1 - 2 months
Just something to take note of for oil traders, but as per OPEC+ tradition, so far their output cuts have proven to be more talk than action with the Reuters tanker shipments survey showing that OPEC members only achieved 74% compliance in May:
