- If situation is very good, it's difficult to see further improvement
- Uncertainty has increased, as businesses are waiting for German govt to form
- Sees no effect on IFO index from Brexit or US tax reform plans
His comments come after the release of the December business climate data here. Likewise, as I mentioned, despite business climate reading dropping to 117.2 it's still a strong reading when you look at the bigger picture.
