The index drops to the lowest since 2017 on jobs, orders. The high for 2019 was up at 59.7 in February. The index a year ago (June) was at 58.7. The high over the last year reached 60.8 in September 2018.
The lower/weakening reading keeps the Fed on pace for cut at the July meeting.
