Welp, Italy's economy emerges from the recession at the end of last year as quarterly growth is seen at 0.2% in the first quarter of this year. Istat notes that the economy is showing 'moderate signs' of a recovery.

That will keep the upbeat tone in the euro going as some fears about Italy are eased for the time being.
