Preliminary Q3 GDP reading was 1.8% y/y
- Q3 GDP +0.4% vs +0.5% q/q prelim
- Q2 GDP unrevised at +0.3% q/q and +1.5% y/y
Revised slightly lower from the preliminary reading. But nothing too substantial. Still showing signs of growth at least.
Much improved compared to previous years' readings. Comparing it with last year, Q3 2016 only showed a growth of +0.9%, so yeah.
Household consumption improved, and exports grew - which was one of the main drivers of the better reading from last quarter.
EUR/USD is slipping a little. Now down to 1.1921.
