Istat sees fourth quarter GDP at zero.
The consensus is for a 0.3% contraction. The Italian economy contracted 0.3% in Q1, 0.3% in Q2 and 0.4% in Q4. On an yearly basis, Italy hasn’t had any growth since 2011.
Overall, the economy is 3.8% smaller than it was at the end of 2007.

Tag on a 15% drop in the euro since then and you have an economy that’s nearly 20% smaller in US dollar terms.
The cherry on top is debt-to-GDP has risen 28 percentage points to 132%.
