The New York Times reports on the ex-Goldman Sachs banker Steve Mnuchin as Treasury Secretary
Adam had this last week:
- Rumored names for Trump's Treasury Secretary and what they might mean for markets
And I had Mnuchin as the tip back on November 10:
- President Trump to appoint Goldman Sachs veteran as Treasury Secretary
Drain the swamp! LOL.
- Mnuchin was a Trump fundraiser
- Was at Goldman Sachs for 17 years (his daddy got him the job there)
Bloomberg on Mnuchin:
- The bank carried out more than 36,000 foreclosures during Mnuchin's reign, according to the California Reinvestment Coalition, a San Francisco-based nonprofit whose deputy director, Kevin Stein, dubbed the bank a "foreclosure machine."
Mnuchin is no stranger to the swamp, snapping up $900 million in Federal bailout money (details here).
