Japan data - Final GDP for Q1 comes in at 0.6% q/q (preliminary was 0.5%)

Now for the final results:

• 0.6% q/q (up from prelim)
• 2.2% y/y (ditto … check out the link above for the flash data)
• Nominal is 0.8%
• Private consumption is -0.1% q/q
• Business capex is 0.3% y/y (up from the preliminary figure)

As part of the GDP data is the 'deflator' - which is measure of inflation. Not good news for the BOJ ….
