- Industrial production -3.8% vs -4.1% y/y prelim
Slight delay in the release by the source. The preliminary report can be found here. Slightly better revisions to initial estimates but those are still very weak numbers.
All this does is just reaffirms the fact that trade tensions is continuing to take a toll on Japanese manufacturing/factory activity. That said, this pertains to Q2 data so it matters little.
