Says that EU Commission president Juncker is to say later today that UK should not expect EU negotiators to soften their demands. But the EU official cited on the matter says that Juncker will reaffirm an offer of a close future partnership post-Brexit.

There's the continued issue of the Irish border in which I still don't see them finding any common ground at the moment. But domestically, Theresa May has her own problems as well with having to get parliament to see through her Chequers proposals.

It's all starting to heat up and yesterday's volatility in the pound is a mere teaser of what's to come in the coming months until all of this is sorted out.
