Confidence towards the German economy continues to dwindle
- Long-term upswing of the German economy has ended
- Risks for the German economy have grown i.e. US-China trade dispute and Brexit
- If no-deal Brexit occurs, economic growth for this year and next will likely be much lower than the forecast
This basically confirms the overnight headlines from a Reuters report. Well, if anything else it highlights that the good times are over for Germany. It's more of a question of whether or not they can avoid recession-like growth from this point as the manufacturing sector continues to collapse in rather dramatic fashion.
