Markit/Nikkei manufacturing PMI revised to 53.6 from 53.8

Still the fastest pace in more than three years

The Markit/Nikkei manufacturing PMI for the month of November was revised to 53.6 from 53.8 in the preliminary report. The October reading came in at 52.8.

• the index has been above the 50 level for the 15th consecutive month
• activity expanded at the fastest pace since March 2014
• new export orders expanded at the fastest pace since February
• new orders expanded at the fastest pace since March 2014
