McConnell says "not much support" from Republicans for tariffs on Mexico

McConnell says he hopes the tariffs can be avoided through talks with the Mexico delegation.

I just get the sense that this isn't a fight that Trump can win. So my belief is that it's all theater and whatever the White House is asking for is something Mexico can easily agree to.

What's worrisome is that Trump's instincts and inclinations are increasingly towards tariffs. Eventually ther ewill be a country that doesn't roll over.
