Russian president Medvedev says there is no chance for a normal relationship with Ukraine unless there is a change of leadership in Kiev. Since much of Europe’s natural gas transits Ukraine on its way to Western Europe, this bears watching.
EUR/US has taken on an easier tone since the comments, now at 1.4265.
