In short Moody's telling the government that the govmt revenue forecasts are full of ****, too high, and the spending forecasts are full of **** in the other direction, too low .... and the ratings agency is onto them.

Which is not a difficult achievement.

(And ps., it doesn't matter what stripe the government is, they're all the same on doing this).
