11 killed at a Pittsburgh synagogue

A gunman stormed the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA on Saturday morning and opened fire on the congregation with an AR-15-style rifle and at least three handguns killing 11 people including 3 women and 8 men ranging in age from 54 to 97. The killer yelled anti-Semitic remarks during his rampage. Six were injured including four police officers (non life threatening). Two of the injured are in critical condition.

The incident is being treated as a hate crime.

This comes on the back of the numerous pipe bombs sent to a number of liberal supporters including CNN from a Florida man.

It was not a great week/weekend.

Prayers for peace to the victims and families.
