Yet more intrigue to add to the already heady market mix 29 Oct
Various media sources have been saying that a U.S. grand jury has approved the first charges stemming from special counsel Robert Mueller's probe into Russian meddling in the 2016 US election and possible collusion with Donald Trump's campaign.
The reports also say that those charged so far will be in custody by tomorrow (Monday). While the special counsel's office and the White House are not commenting on the development, the Trump administration is likely aware of what is coming.
Says CNN :
Under the regulations governing special counsel investigations, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has oversight over the Russia investigation, would have been made aware of any charges before they were taken before the grand jury for approval, according to people familiar with the matter.
In addition to Mueller's probe, three committees on Capitol Hill are conducting their own investigations.
