New Liberal leader prepared to bring Canadian government down if necessary

The new leader of Canada’s Liberal Party says he is prepared to vote non-confidence if necessary if the Tories do not offer “hope and a plan” for the county. Seems to me the US just voted for hope and a plan and found out there was more hope than a plan once the elections was out of the way. Parliament is out of session until late January as Harper tries to sort out his minority government.

USD/CAD is dipping at the moment having topped out at 1.2640 in the last hour. We now trade at 1.2590. Good bids are seen in the 1.2525 area on dips, dealers report.
