Tokyo's main index closes the day lower as the yen gains

Tech shares are the main drag on the day, but most sectors are also in the red to be fair. Asian markets are mixed in general today despite the S&P 500 and Nasdaq closing at record highs in the US once again yesterday.
The Hang Seng index is down 0.04% and the Kospi is also down by 0.08%. Meanwhile, Chinese stocks are faring a tad bit better with the Shanghai Composite up by 0.29% while the CSI 300 index is up by 0.06%.
