Nikkei & Kospi both open higher

The Nikkei has opened up marginally higher, up 0.7%, but has immediately turned negative.

The Kospi has opened up 0.62%, but has given back most of that as well.

Elsewhere in the region the ASX200 is trading up 0.4%.

Investors in China will be anxiously awaiting the open of the Shanghai Composite on Friday.
