North Korea threatened a military strike against South Korea after Seoul joined a US led initiative to intersept shipments of suspected nuclear arms.
North Korea said any hostile attack or seaching of their vessels will be considered as an unpardonable infringement on their sovereinty and will respond with a military strike.
