Three million barrels per day of refining is offline
The biggest refinery in the United States is Exxon's Beaumont facility and it's now completely shut down. That brings total capacity that's offline to 3 million barrels per day.
The market continues to react to the storm by selling crude. WTI is down 65-cents on the day to $45.92 per barrel, the weakest since July 24.
The news doesn't get any better from here with the storm continuing to pound away.
