On a quiet month-end afternoon, let’s remake the Olympic Games

I can’t say this iteration of the Olympic Games has really captured my imagination.

Maybe because the high-profile events are being shown on tape-delay in the evenings or maybe because the Games seemed to stop being relevant in the 1970s when “via satellite” was still cool. The dancing NHS nurses surrounding a giant inflatable infant were quite charming, I must admit.

In that spirit, if you could remake the Olympics, what sports would you drop and what would you add?
