Crude oil futures are down $.14 or -0.25% to $51.55
The Russian energy minister Novak is on the wires saying he plans on meeting with Saudi's Al-Falih today.
The price of crude oil futures are down $.14 or -0.25% $51.55. The high price reached $52.25, while the low extended to $51.17.
The price of oil has been pushing lower since peaking in April at $66.60. Global growth concerns on the back of trade war fears, and supplies are catalysts for the move. US crude production hit a new record high and stockpiles hit their highest since July 2017.
Typically the pair is trading around its 61.8% retracement of the move up from the December low at $51.62.
