Sicily now says Italy owes it 1B euros

The Sicilian governor says the state has a liquidity crisis because the Italian government owes it 1B euros. Yesterday, Monti warned that Sicily could default.

Sounds like somebody wearing cement boots is about to have a liquidity problem…
