The low since the CPI number has been .9928 and dealers report some decent sized buying interest starting at .9920.
I personally did not consider a rate hike next month to be a liklihood although there were certainly some newspaper articles in the last few days raising the prospect. This morning’s data means that the RBA is very likely to stay on its present course.
