The US and global recovery is on the fritz with oil above $100/barrel yet natural gas touched a 10-year low today with no reasonable scope for a near-term improvement.
In the last 11 years, oil is up 300% and gas down 56%.
If I were a US politician, I don’t think any amount of technological investment in making nat gas a viable transpiration fuel would be money wasted. I’m not sure about the best way to make money on this trade but this is something that is so sensible that it seems inevitable.
