Sounds like SEC could delay vote on uptick rule

The wires are covering every utterance out of the SEC meeting. It sounds as though they will not take a vote on the matter and could put the staff proposal out for public comment before voting…Bad news for those who were hoping for a quick resolution of the issue.

Stocks have popped back into positive territory but currencies are only moderately bothered.
